The story of much&little …

much&little opened its doors in October 2011. It grew from a desire to create a personal shop that offers simple, beautiful, well-made goods and clothing for everyday use. Each item has been hand picked not just for aesthetics and function, but also for the story behind it that creates lasting value. Where was it made, how and by whom? As much as possible, I seek out products that have been created with love and care, with attention to detail and craft. I source our wares from all over, including local artisans who hone their craft one piece at a time, to European heritage brands that have been doing the same thing for years, because they do it well.

For you, I hope this translates into something of value. Where items are of heirloom quality and timeless appeal. Where a seemingly humble object will be something you love to pick up and use each day, and the patina of use just makes it better.

I’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has encouraged me in all phases of the business. To friends, family, folks in the community and especially customers who show their support and make each day worthwhile. In the end it’s about connection and community; none of this would be possible without you.

To our son, for his open heart, enthusiasm, and being my biggest cheerleader.
To our crazy loveable dog, Bruno, for keeping me young-at-heart and giving unconditional wet kisses at the end of each day.
