It’s hard to believe that in just a few short hours 2012 will be a thing of the past. Looking back I have to say it’s been quite a year – the shop survived it’s first year in business and I didn’t completely lose my marbles as a first time store owner (although sometimes I thought I might). It’s been a year of huge learning and challenges and wonderful accomplishments and rewards!
While I’m not one to make New Year’s resolutions, I am aware of setting some intentions for how I choose to be in the world. Being grateful for my lot in life is one of them. On that note, I would like to thank you (yeah, that’s you, good-lookin’) for your support and making the shop possible. Without our loyal customers we wouldn’t – we couldn’t – be here. Your conscious decision to support the shop means so much to me.
And a note about the January schedule which is going to be a little weird. With J taking a long and well-deserved break, and me in serious need of family time, the shop is going to be closed on Mondays again and it will also be closed from SUNDAY, JANUARY 13 to TUESDAY, JANUARY 22. We will return to our normal routine in February.
Apologies for any inconveniences this may cause, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.
I wish you a wonderful New Year. I hope 2013 brings you much happiness, peace, abundance and joy. See you soon! xx
