Ponderosa Pine Candle (Birch Block Collab)

An intentionally crafted, hand-poured, all-natural candle made from carbon neutral, plant-based cocosoy wax and scented entirely with sustainably wild foraged and locally steam distilled Okanagan Ponderosa Pine essential oil.

Birch Block Vineyard’s nutrient-rich terroir is also home to wild Ponderosa Pine trees, whose aromatic needles and bark are fragrantly scented with notes of citrus and honey. These statuesque trees dot the rolling hillside landscape of the Okanagan Valley and infuse the air with their clean, warm, comforting smell in the heat of the Okanagan summer.

This all-natural, handmade seasonal candle is an ode to this scent – warm, honeyed, with a touch of mandarin orange - the scent of Okanagan summers.

To ensure a long life for this candle, always trim the wick to ¼ inch before burning. During the first burn, allow the melt pool of the candle to reach the edges of the vessel to prevent tunneling from occurring.
