Burn this candle when you are searching for confirmation, affirmation, wisdom and guidance. Deeply balsamic and sweet notes of Apple Blossom, Brown Sugar and wild honey are deepened and grounded with woodsy notes of Oak, White Birch and Cedarwood.

PAPOA'KAN
Inspired by the beautiful wilds of Anaqtl’a, known today as Pachena Bay, in the Broken Group Islands, this candle was created with dream herbs and botanicals to assist with safe astral travel and lucid dreaming. It has a complex and captivating scent - jasmine, patchouli, immortelle and chocolate lily create the smell of a sultry summer breeze.

SIIPATSIMAAN
A calming, beautifully sweet and sultry fragrance to encourage meditation, contemplation and bring happiness in. Sweetgrass represents positivity, strength, connection to the Creator and All Our Relations. A beautiful, sweet, earthy scent  blended with deep, woodsy cedar and the dry, airy creaminess of garden grown sage.

AISIYAH'KIYA
Burning this candle recreates the scent of rich green rainforests right in your home. A path overgrown with Blackberry bushes, salal and ferns. Mossy and lush, the air full of the scent of the Forest. The woodsy scents of red cedar, Balsam fir, hemlock and juniper mingle with blackberry and salal bushes rich with fruit. The light, earthy scent of sage mingles with the sweet, balsamic and resinous Balsam Fir, creating a scent that is light and fresh yet still deep and opulent with hints of jasmine, oak moss and amber. Tangy sea salt kisses your nose while a pop of Citron brings a spark of joy. A bright, fresh sweet scent, grounded by the roots of the forest floor.

WAAKOMIMM - CALM
A peaceful blend of naturally soothing, calming and nurturing botanicals. Creamy Vanilla notes steal the show here, deepened and caramelized by sweetly balsamic birch and benzoin resins. Beautiful lavender is next, both floral and citrusy, warmed by the sun into an intoxicatingly gorgeous scent. Perfectly blended with summery, robust rose, the florals are deepened and sweetened by our rich, creamy vanilla base and made sacred by one of our favourite scents, Honey Absolute. Refreshing Citron and locally gathered Nettle are blended into a top note, bringing the blend into sweet, sparkling symphony. A burst of Pink Pepper and an incredibly gorgeous Lilac finish off this deep, sultry scent with a spark of fizzy joy. A beautiful, nurturing, sweet and loving blend, a true Nectar of the Gods. 

AWATSIMOIHKA - GRATITUDE
Inspired by time spent on Lawrence’s reserve, Siksika Nation. A deeply, profoundly powerful place. A place so ancient and so wise it rattles your very bones. Charred Cedar and Palo Santo give a rich, sweetly smoky scent, grounding the wild vanilla, warmly fragrant sandalwood and sensual Oud. Middle notes of Tobacco leaf and clove blend into the woodsy, deep base of sandalwood, cedar, amber and peppercorn. Rich, spicy Olbanum mingles with top notes of wild rose, iris, and sweet berries. Sun warmed Golden Honey ties them all together in an enchanting and beautiful scent.

IISSTISOOHTSI - FOREST BATH
Inspired by tradition territory of the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ. Here, deep, dense, dark forests march down to craggy beaches with white sand and black rock. Balsman Fir and Red Cedar create a deep, woodsy scent balanced by top notes of bright, honeyed Neroli, citrusy and sweet and dewy, aquatic Fern.

AAWAKAMA - PROTECT
The deep and smoky charred Cedar and dark oak mingles with glowing embers and beautiful vanilla leaf to create a deep and rich base. Middle notes of Tobacco Leaf, sweet, slightly floral and lightly musky lead you into soft, creamy notes of warm blackberry and sticky sweet honey. Like picking berries on a warm summer day. Top notes of wild orange and bergamot lighten this blend, bringing beauty and balance to its deep, rich creaminess.

Crowfoot Collective is an Indigenous co-owned business based on Vancouver Island. They are a small, family run business owned by Claire Crowfoot and Lawrence Crowfoot Jr.

Lawrence is a proud member of Siksika Nation, and holds strong ties to his Blackfoot roots, and their respect and love for his Blackfoot Culture is reflected in their collections. Claire is studying to receive her certificate in Aromatherapy and has taken numerous Herbalism, Aromatherapy and Perfumery Courses. Her reverence for our Plant Relatives is woven into each piece. 

They use botanicals from their own garden, gathered according to tradition and the cycles of the moon in each one of their pieces. 

Each product is created using essential oils, absolutes, infusions and tinctures from some of the most important Indigenous plant medicines. Their aim is to use the power of our plant relatives and ancient Indigenous knowledge to create goods which nurture and heal, bringing the Natural World into your home, and bringing you back to yourself.
